Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Brandon, FL: What It Looks Like
Turning a shower into a soaking tub in Brandon, FL: what you pick, what affects price and how the work goes.
You have a shower, but what you really want is a tub. Maybe it is for the grandkids, for soaking, or for the day you sell your Brandon home. This page walks through what that change looks like here, from the first visit to a finished bath.
The work is focused on one spot. Your shower comes out and a Jacuzzi® bathtub takes its place, either a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub. You pick the wall style and color, the base and the fixture finish. Slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars and built-in seating can be added. The tub material resists damage and has anti-microbial protection. The floor and vanity stay. In Brandon, the work so far has been two shower replacements and one walk-in tub, and one of those showers has smooth Alabaster walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures and an exposed roller door.
Brandon is an unincorporated community in Hillsborough County, not a city. I-75 reached Brandon in 1986, and by 1990 the population had grown to nearly 58,000. By 2020 it was 114,626. The mall that was Westfield Brandon has been called Brandon Exchange since 2024. Those numbers do not change how a tub is installed. What matters is your home: how many baths it has, who uses this one, and how much room the shower space offers.
Every bathroom is different, so every job is quoted in the home. The size and layout of the space are one part of it. Then come the tub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. The free quote includes the product and the installation. Installs can be finished in as little as one day, and a second day is rare.
The steps are easy to follow. Call Love Your Bath to set up a visit. A designer meets with you at home, listens, and maps out a custom plan with options. You pick the colors, finishes and safety features you want. On install day, the crew makes the swap and goes over every detail with you at the end. William A. wrote, "Tyler and Kevin did such an amazing job. I love my new bath and shower so it was better than I expected."
Afterward, you have a tub that fits your space and your taste, with surfaces that are easy to keep clean. Bath time is simple again. If permits, cost or whether this is a smart move are on your mind, those questions are answered below.
