A shower that looks tired is easy to ignore until company comes over. A step over a high tub wall is harder to ignore. In Palm Coast, FL, we fix both without gutting the bathroom. We replace just the shower or the tub and leave the rest of the room as it is.
A shower replacement swaps the old stall for a Jacuzzi® shower system with walls built for easy upkeep. You can add a seat and grab bars where you want them. If you shower over a tub today, a tub-to-shower conversion takes out the tub and puts in a low-threshold shower. Installs take In as little as One Day, and a few take a second day.
In Palm Coast, in Flagler County, we finished three shower replacements in 2024 and 2025. The 2024 job has smooth Champagne walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures, an exposed roller door and a fold-down seat. One from 2025 pairs smooth Midnight Storm walls with Brushed Nickel fixtures and a Prairie seat. Another from 2025 has Alabaster walls in a subway pattern, Brushed Nickel fixtures and a dual bypass door.

The downsides of a walk-in tub
Should you pick a walk-in tub or a walk-in shower in Palm Coast? Start with how you like to get clean. If you love a long soak, a walk-in tub has a low entry, an easy-to-open door, a built-in seat and grab bars. Options include water jets and heated air. If you mostly shower, a Jacuzzi® walk-in shower gives you a low or barrier-free entry and a seat where you want it. Our designer helps you weigh both at home.
