Bathroom Remodeling in Clearwater, One Tub or Shower at a Time
What a tub or shower makeover looks like in Clearwater, FL, from the first home visit to the final walkthrough.
Most people who start looking are not after a whole new bathroom. They are tired of a tub that is hard to climb into, or a shower that never looks clean. Whether you live near Coachman Park downtown or out in Countryside off US 19, the question is usually the same: can the tub or shower be fixed in Clearwater without tearing up the whole room?
Yes, and that is the whole idea. Bathroom remodeling here means the wet area only. The old tub or shower comes out, and a Jacuzzi® tub or shower system goes in, made to fit the space. You can keep a classic tub, choose a deep-soaking tub, go with a walk-in shower with an easier step in, or convert a tub to a shower. We have done three jobs in Clearwater: a bathtub replacement, a shower replacement and a walk-in tub. The 2024 bathtub replacement there has Brushed Nickel fixtures and an open entry with no door. The rest of the room stays as it is, so the work stays in one spot.
Homes in Clearwater sit in places as different as Island Estates on the Memorial Causeway, Clearwater Beach and Countryside near the mall on US 19 North. Clearwater, in Pinellas County, is the county seat, and the city says it sits on the highest coastal bluff in Florida. None of that changes what your tub or shower needs. What changes the job is your own room, not which part of town it sits in. Before anyone visits, look at three things. How hard is it to step in? Would you like to sit while you wash? Are the walls or grout stained, cracked or loose?
Every shower and tub is quoted in the home, because no two bathrooms are the same. The price depends on the size and layout of the space, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. The quote covers the product and the installation. The cost question has its own page below.
You call and pick a time for a design visit, and all homeowners are asked to be there. A designer from Love Your Bath listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the colors, finishes and safety features. On install day the crew takes out the old unit and puts in the new one. When they finish, they go over every detail with you and activate the lifetime warranty right then.
After that, you have a tub or shower that fits the way you use it today, and a warranty that covers you for as long as you own the home. The rest of your bathroom stays just as it was. Henrik R. wrote, "My wife loves the new shower!!"
