What Will It Cost to Swap Your Tub for a Walk-In Shower?
How pricing works for a tub-to-shower conversion in Fort Myers, FL, and why the number comes from your home.
You want the tub out of your Fort Myers bathroom, but first you need to know if it fits the budget. A price you find online was not made for your bathroom, so it cannot tell you much. The honest answer starts with what you pick and the space you have.
There is no single price for a tub-to-shower conversion, because each one is built to fit. The tub comes out and a custom shower goes in, sized to the space. You pick the wall type and color, the base type and color, and the fixture colors. Those choices, plus the room itself, set the number. That is why the quote happens in your home, since no two bathrooms are alike.
Here is the short list the price depends on: the size and layout of the shower space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. The free quote includes both the product and the installation. The work covers only the tub or shower area, not the rest of the bathroom. Ask any cost question you have, big or small.
This week, skip the guessing and book a design visit with Love Your Bath. All homeowners are asked to be there, so pick a time that works for each of you. The designer sits down with you, listens to what you are after, and puts together a custom plan with options and a free quote. If spreading out payments would help, ask about financing at the visit. Do not settle on a shower from a price chart before you see your options.
With a real quote in hand, you can decide with clear eyes and no guessing. Your shower could look like a Fort Myers shower replacement from 2025, with smooth Champagne walls and Brushed Nickel fixtures, or wear any colors you choose. K M. put it simply: "He did a great job and we are very happy with the result."
What people in Fort Myers say
"Our Tub to Shower and full redesign turned out beautifully. Thanks to Samuel R. For his attention to detail and craftsmanship. Materials appear first class. My wife and I are very pleased/happy."
"Tyler and Alec recently installed our new Jacuzzi tub and shower combo. I was very satisfied with their work and the quality of the materials. Also, after a minor issue arose with the bathtub faucet (an issue that did not prevent us from using the tub or shower), I was able to call Love Your Bath and arrange for Tyler to come out and fix the problem without issue."
"I recently had a walk-in shower installed by Love Your Bath. The installers who were in my home for two days - Mike Harley, who was in charge of the onsite work and the two men with him : Chris Burns and Brian Evans were efficient, very polite, and kept me informed as the work progressed. I cannot say enough good things about the overall experience and look forward to enjoying a safe shower for years to come!! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends.."
