Looking for something other than a walk-in tub?
Practical bathroom safety and accessibility choices for older adults in Lehigh Acres, FL.
The step into the tub has turned into a project, and a walk-in tub keeps coming up as the fix. Maybe you like the idea, maybe not. Before you decide, it helps for a Lehigh Acres homeowner to see the full set of choices side by side.
There are several ways to get rid of the high step. Turning the tub into a shower is one, and a walk-in shower with a low or barrier-free entry is another. A shower can also get grab bars and a built-in seat, so you are not standing the whole time. If you would rather keep a tub, a new bathtub can come with slip-resistant surfaces and grab bars. A walk-in tub is still on the list too, with its low-threshold entry and integrated seat.
Whatever you lean toward, the quote is put together in your home. It depends on the space, its size and layout, whether you end with a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. For a walk-in tub, its size and the accessibility and wellness features you choose count too. The work stays in the wet area, and installs take in as little as one day, with a second day needed rarely.
This week, list what you want most: a seat, something to hold, no high step, or a long soak. Then book a visit with Love Your Bath, a Jacuzzi® Bath Remodel dealer. A designer comes to your Lehigh Acres home, listens to that list, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to be there, so pick a time you can all make.
When it is done, you get in and out without the climb that started this search. Preston wrote, "They really take the time to listen to find out exactly what I was looking for." In Lehigh Acres, a 2024 bathtub replacement went in with smooth Seaside walls, Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures and an open entry with no door.
What people in Lehigh Acres say
"We had a fantastic experience on the installation of our bathtub. The guy was very good at it. He cleaned up everything after he finished. He did a great job especially on restricted space in condo bathrooms. So far we are very happy. It looks beautiful and makes us feel safer to get in our shower."
"MARCEL DID GREAT JOB ON MY TUB TO SHOWER CONVERSION. IT IS AWESOME I WOULD RECCOMEND LOVE YOUR BATH. THANKS FOR GREAT INSTALLATION"
"I’m so happy with the entire experience I had with love your bath. They really take the time to listen to find out exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the Jacuzzi shower was higher than what I expected. They kept me informed throughout the entire process from start to finish. I am so glad I made the decision to let love your bath be the company I used for my beautiful new shower! You won’t be disappointed if you choose them as well."
