What will it cost to replace your tub with a walk-in shower?
How pricing works for a tub-to-shower conversion in Naples, FL, and what goes into your own number.
You have looked at the tub long enough, and you want a shower you can walk into. Before you invite anyone over, you want to know if it fits the budget. Whether your home is in Park Shore, Olde Cypress or close to Fifth Avenue South in Naples, the figure starts with your own bathroom.
Searching for a single price for this job rarely helps. Swapping a tub for a shower is custom work. The tub comes out, and a low-threshold Jacuzzi® shower is fitted to the space left behind. Bathrooms differ in size and shape, and every homeowner makes different picks for walls, base and fixtures. That is why the number only becomes real once someone has stood in the room and seen it.
Here is the list of what the price depends on: the size and layout of the tub space, the shower base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and any extras, like a seat, shelves or grab bars. One Naples shower replacement from 2024 pairs Canyon walls with Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures. Another, from 2025, has Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern and Chrome fixtures. Different picks lead to different quotes.
Start by deciding what you want the shower to do for you. Do you need a place to sit? Grab bars? A certain finish to go with the room? Write it all down. Then call Love Your Bath for a free design visit at your home. A designer listens to your list and builds a custom plan with options, along with a free quote that includes the product and the installation. Skip the online cost calculators. They cannot see your bathroom.
Once you have the quote in hand, the guessing is over. You can decide with a real number in front of you. If you go ahead, your new shower comes with a lifetime warranty that covers you for as long as you own the home. Each morning after that starts with a simple step in, not a climb.

Think about who uses the bathroom today and in the next few years. A walk-in shower is easier and safer to step into. A tub matters more to families with small children. If the home has another tub, converting one is rarely a problem. Our designer will talk it through with you before you decide.
