Afraid you'll miss the tub, or wish you'd kept the shower?
Help deciding on a shower-to-tub conversion for your New Port Richey, FL home, without regrets.
You keep picturing two futures. In one, you have a tub and wish you had the easy step of a shower. In the other, you kept the shower and a buyer or a visiting grandchild needs a tub. Here in New Port Richey, the right answer comes down to your own household.
This is a choice about people, not fixtures. Tubs make bathing small children easy and give you a place to soak. Walk-in showers offer easier step-in access for anyone who struggles to lift a leg over a tub wall. Resale worries matter most when a home would be left with no tub at all.
The work itself is contained. A conversion swaps only the wet area and updates the walls around it. What grows the job is the size of the space and what you add: a slip-resistant surface, built-in seating, grab bars or shelves. A Jacuzzi® tub can come with several of those, so choosing a tub does not mean giving up safety features. Installs take in as little as one day, and a second day is needed only rarely.
Have a short talk at home this week. Ask the people who use that bathroom what they need from it now. Look ahead a few years too. Count the tubs in the house. If there is another one, changing this bathroom is a smaller decision. Then invite Love Your Bath for a design visit in New Port Richey. The designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote, so the choice is made with real options on the table.
Then the question is closed. You have a bathroom that suits the people in it, and you can stop running the two futures in your head. Gail K. wrote, "He was easy to talk to and spent the time to answer all of our questions."
What people in New Port Richey say
"Recently replace my old shower with a brand new one. loveyourbath did the installation. I chose them after I saw the shower they installed at a neighbor's. I am very pleased with my new shower … included a seat, soap dish and grab rails. Alex did the installation all by himself & did a great job. Took the time to explain the paperwork, the warranty and care. I would gladly refer them to everyone! Thank you loveyourbath!!"
"Very good experience. On time, responsive. Clean work area. A very positive experience"
"We had a great experience from the start to the finish of our shower remodel. Derrick Pemberton gave us everything we wanted in his estimate. He was easy to talk to and spent the time to answer all of our questions. When installation day came, Jean Santiago and his assistant carefully built the shower. They protected our furniture and floors, and even washed off the driveway when they were finished."
