Is a bath done in a day too good to be true, or just smart?
What really happens on a fast bathtub replacement in Orlando, FL, and how to judge the work.
The pitch sounds great: your old tub out and a new tub in, fast. If you live in Orlando, near Lake Eola or out by the Mall at Millenia, you have probably wondered what the catch is. Any catch would be in the product and the crew, not the clock.
Fast does not have to mean careless. A job moves quickly when the scope is tight. Here only the tub or shower is replaced, not the whole room. The crew is not juggling a long list of other trades and tasks. It is focused on taking out the old tub and setting the new tub right.
The install takes in as little as one day. Some installs need a second day, though that is rare. What gets done is the tub area: out with the old tub, in with a new Jacuzzi® bathtub, plus any seat or grab bars you picked. The cost depends on your space and on the base, wall style, wall finish and fixture finish you choose. It is all quoted at your home.
Here is a good test for any company this week. Ask who installs the tub and what brand goes in. Love Your Bath installs genuine Jacuzzi® bathtubs, from a brand with 110+ years behind it. Installation is done mainly by their own crews. Ask to talk through the steps of install day, so you know what to expect when the crew arrives. Clear answers are a good sign.
When the work wraps up, you have a finished tub and a tidy room. Carol O. wrote that Joe S. "communicated each step of the process clearly, was well organized and cleaned up everything." That is what a fast job should feel like from your side.
