Walk-In Showers in Palm Bay: No More Climbing Into the Tub
How walk-in showers work in Palm Bay, FL, from the first visit to the finished shower.
For a lot of people, the search starts the day the tub wall begins to feel like a hurdle. Maybe it is your own balance, or maybe it is a parent who stays at your Palm Bay home. You want a shower you can walk into, sit in and clean without fighting grout.
In Palm Bay, a walk-in shower goes where your old tub or shower stands today. The old unit comes out, and a Jacuzzi® shower system with a low or barrier-free entry goes in. You can add a built-in seat, shelves and grab bars where they help. The walls are an ultra-durable wall system with grout-free antimicrobial surfaces. We have replaced three showers in Palm Bay. One from 2025 has smooth Sandstorm walls and Brushed Nickel fixtures. Another from the same year has Alabaster walls and Chrome fixtures. A third, from 2024, pairs Alabaster subway-pattern walls with a dual bypass door.
Palm Bay is a Space Coast city in Brevard County, with hot, humid summers. Its historic section lies at the mouth of Turkey Creek, and the city grew from 103,190 people in 2010 to 119,760 in 2020. Whether you live near Bill Madden Park or Turkey Creek Sanctuary, the shower job still comes down to your own bathroom. Look at the step into the tub, whether you have a place to sit, and how much time you spend scrubbing grout.
Every walk-in shower is quoted in the home, because no two bathrooms are the same. The price depends on the size and layout of the space and on what you pick: the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. Barrier-free showers and very low-profile custom pans are both available. Your quote includes the product and the installation.
First, you call Love Your Bath and set a time for a design visit, with all homeowners present. A designer comes to your home, listens, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You pick the wall color, the base and the fixture finish. Then the installers come out, take out the old unit and set the new shower. William M. said the installer "informed me step by step what was being done." Most installs take as little as one day, and some take a second day, rarely.
Once it is in, you walk in without a second thought and sit down if you want. The grab bars are where your hands go. Cleaning is a wipe of smooth walls, not an afternoon with a grout brush. Questions about tub removal, cost and walk-in tub alternatives each have their own page below.

What people in Palm Bay say
"Had a Garden Tub to Walk in shower conversion . Tristan was the installer. He did this 2 day job by himself . I was very impressed with his skills during demo and install in a 3rd floor condo incased in concrete. He had to break out the jack hammer to complete the drain. Once completed the Shower is awesome. Thank you Paul G"
