The bathroom remodel mistakes you do not want to make
Plain advice on what to skip when bathroom remodeling comes to your home in Ponte Vedra, FL.
Everybody seems to know someone whose remodel ran long, went over budget, or left a problem behind. If you own a home in Ponte Vedra and your tub or shower is next, you want the version of the story with a happy ending. That starts with knowing where these jobs tend to go wrong.
Three mistakes show up again and again. The first is ripping out the whole room when only the shower or tub was the problem. The second is splitting the job among several trades, so when something leaks, each one points at the next. The third is choosing materials that come with no real warranty. None of them look like mistakes on day one. They show up later, when fixing them is harder.
Keep the scope honest. If the wet area is what bothers you, that is the job. The tub or shower gets new walls, a new base and new fixtures, and the rest of the bathroom is left alone. One Ponte Vedra shower from 2025 kept to just that: Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern and Brushed Nickel fixtures. The price follows your picks and your space, including a shower or a bathtub, the size and layout, the wall style and finish, the base, the fixture finish, and any seat, shelves or grab bars.
Before you sign anything, ask who will do the install and what warranty you get. At Love Your Bath, installers are primarily W-2 employees, not mainly outside crews. The lifetime warranty covers both product and workmanship, and it protects you for as long as you own the home. When the job is done, the crew goes over every detail and activates that warranty right then. Get those answers this week, before anything gets torn out.
When a job goes the right way, there is nothing dramatic to tell. Nancy C. summed hers up as "Great experience from start to finish." You have a new shower or tub, a clean bathroom, and a warranty in place for as long as you own your Ponte Vedra home.

are one day bath remodels worth it
A fast job is possible because only the tub or shower is replaced, not the whole room. What matters is the product and who stands behind it. We install genuine Jacuzzi® systems, mainly with our own crews, and activate a lifetime warranty when the job is done. Most jobs take as little as one day; some take longer, and we will tell you which at the design visit.
