Shower now, tub wanted: what goes into the price
Cost answers for a shower-to-tub conversion in Wesley Chapel, FL, without the guesswork.
Wesley Chapel has many planned communities, like Seven Oaks, Meadow Pointe and Wiregrass Ranch, and about two in three homes here are detached single-family houses. If yours has a shower where you would rather have a tub, the first thing you want is a clear idea of cost.
A shower-to-tub conversion takes out a shower and puts a tub in its place, framed by new walls. Families often want it so young children can have a real bath and a place to play at bath time. Others want a soak at the end of the day, or a tub to show when it is time to sell. Your shower may be fine. It just is not what you need now.
Price follows the space and your picks. A bigger or odd-shaped area changes the job. The tub matters too, whether a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub. Then add the base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish. Extras such as shelves, a seat or grab bars raise it. Only the wet area is changed, so the rest of the bathroom stays put.
Do not wait for a price list, since no two bathrooms are the same. Book a free design visit with Love Your Bath instead. A designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote that includes the product and the installation. All homeowners are asked to be there, so pick a time when you can all be home. Before the visit, write down how you plan to use the tub, whether for kids, a soak or resale.
Once installed, the tub becomes part of the routine, and bath night is simple again. The walls and fixtures will be the ones you chose. The install is handled mainly by the company's own crews, which keeps one company accountable from start to finish. Mark S. wrote that "MARCEL and his asst showed up on time and they were great."
What people in Wesley Chapel say
"Brooke was our salesperson, and was so helpful in guiding us through the process and gave some excellent advice, after a little hiccup we got our installation date. MARCEL and his asst showed up on time and they were great. Marcel was a non-stop perfectionist and 10 hrs later after removing a old bathtub a gorgeous spa like shower was revealed. Marcel made sure I knew how to use all the new levers and valves, and that everything was perfect. Would highly recommend Love your Bath for your next bath remodel."
"I purchased a Jacuzzi Bath Remodel from Costco and was referred to Love Your Bath LLC. The purchase process was very easy. Chris Stone was great about explaining all the options, colors, etc. We had the installation on October 16, 2024. Alec and Mike were absolutely fabulous - they called about 20 minutes before they arrived, arrived around 8:30 a.m. and stayed until they were finished which was around 7:00 p.m. Our new shower is beautiful and will be maintenance free. I would highly recommend this shower system."
"Alec was our installer and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect project. Everything went perfectly. Thank you very much Love Your Bath"
