Bathtub Replacement in Winter Haven: What You Get

Winter Haven, in Polk County, calls itself the Chain of Lakes City. At home, though, the question is often the tub. It is stained, it is worn, or getting in has become a chore. Bathtub replacement takes care of that by changing only the tub and leaving the rest of the room as it is.

For a home in Winter Haven, bathtub replacement means the old tub comes out and a new Jacuzzi® bathtub takes its spot. The walls around it are new as well, in the type and color you pick. You also choose the base type and color and the fixture colors. Styles include classic alcove tubs and deep-soaking tubs, with slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars and built-in seating as options. Three showers have been replaced in Winter Haven so far. A 2025 job there has smooth Crystal Frost walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures, an exposed roller door and a fold-down seat.

Winter Haven sits between Tampa and Orlando, and the company has offices in the Tampa and Orlando areas. The town has 50 lakes inside its borders, and LEGOLAND Florida stands just east of town. Neither one changes what your tub needs. What matters is your own bathroom. Check how you step in and out, how the tub space is laid out, and what you wish the old tub did better. Bring those notes when the designer visits.

The price is set during a visit to your home, since each bathroom is its own case. It depends on the size and layout of the tub space, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. The quote is free and includes both product and installation. The install itself is done in as little as one day. On rare jobs, a second day is needed. Questions about cost, speed and choosing a tub have their own answers below.

It begins with a call to Love Your Bath. A designer comes to your home, listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote, and all homeowners are asked to be there. You then pick the colors, finishes and safety features. Once the plan feels right to you, the install gets scheduled. On install day, out goes the old tub and in goes the new one. Barbara S. wrote, "The workers were on time, friendly and thorough."

When the job is done, the bathroom still looks like yours, with a tub that is easy to keep clean. If you chose a seat or grab bars, they are in place. You can stop putting off baths because of how the old tub looks. The old tub, and the chore of cleaning it, are gone.
