Bathtub Replacement in Cocoa Beach, Without Redoing the Room
What a new tub involves, what sets the price and how the work goes, for homeowners in Cocoa Beach, FL.
Maybe your tub has stains that will not lift, or the side feels tall to step over now. Whether your Cocoa Beach home is near the pier or a few blocks off A1A, you face the same choice: patch the old tub again, or replace just the tub and leave the rest of the bathroom alone. This page walks through the second option.
Here is what bathtub replacement looks like for a Cocoa Beach home. The old tub comes out and a Jacuzzi® bathtub takes its place. Nothing else in the room is part of the job. You pick from classic alcove tubs and deep-soaking tubs, then choose the walls, a base and the fixture colors. Safety options include slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars and built-in seating. The tub is made from a durable material with anti-microbial protection, so it cleans up fast. In Cocoa Beach, we have replaced one bathtub and two showers. That bathtub, done in 2023, has smooth Midnight Storm walls, Chrome fixtures and an open entry with no door.
Cocoa Beach, in Brevard County, is a Space Coast city facing the Atlantic Ocean, with 5.6 miles of oceanfront. It grew fast in the 1950s and 1960s, as people moved there for space program jobs. The pier was built in 1962 and is now the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier. The median age here is 59.8, per the 2020 census. Those facts do not change how a tub is made. What matters for your job is your own bathroom: the tub space, who uses it, and whether a seat or grab bars would help.
Every quote is made in the home, since no bathroom matches another. It rests on the size and layout of the tub space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. The product and the install are both in it. Installs take as little as one day, and a second day is uncommon. Cost, value and one-day questions each have their own page below.
You start with a call and set a time when all homeowners can be home. A designer from Love Your Bath visits, listens to what you want, and puts together a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the colors, finishes and any safety features. When install day comes, the worn tub is taken out and your new one is set in. Nicoleta H. wrote, "They made our needs their priorty through the entire process."
After that, the tub you chose is the one you step into each day. It resists damage and keeps its color. Norma B. chose to call after seeing this: "I observed a love your bath installer cleaning up after one of his jobs." Care like that is what you want in your own home.
