A Safer Way In and Out of the Bath in Fort Myers

People usually start looking when the tub wall gets harder to step over, or when a wet floor starts to feel risky. Maybe it is your own bathroom, or a parent's place off US 41 in Fort Myers. Either way, you want to stay put and make the room work for the way you move now.

Here, the work stays inside the wet area, the tub or the shower. That might mean grab bars where your hands already reach, a built-in seat, or a low entry so you step in instead of climbing. It might mean a barrier-free shower, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a walk-in tub with a door, a seat and grab bars. Every Jacuzzi® shower and tub is custom, so you pick the wall type and color, the base and the fixture colors. In Fort Myers we have replaced two showers and installed a walk-in tub. The 2024 shower has smooth Midnight Storm walls with Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures and an Alabaster White base.

Fort Myers is the county seat of Lee County. McGregor Boulevard is home to beautiful old homes, and downtown, the River District has brick buildings from the early 1900s to the 1920s. US 41 runs through the city, and I-75 runs along its east side. Whatever part of town you are in, start with your own bathroom. Look at how high you lift your foot to get in, where you would want a bar, and whether there is room to sit.

Price is set in your home, because no bathroom matches another. It depends on the size and layout of the shower or tub space, whether you want a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. For walk-in tubs, the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features you choose count too. The free quote includes the product and the installation. Floors and vanities are left as they are.

First, you call and set a time. All homeowners are asked to be at the design consultation, so pick a time that works for each of you. A designer from Love Your Bath comes to your Fort Myers home, listens to what has become hard, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the colors, finishes and safety features. Installation is done mainly by their own crews.

After that, the bathroom just works for you. You step in without the old climb, there is a place to sit, and there is something solid to hold. Ernest B. wrote that sales and installation were professional, adding, "I felt treated with respect." If Medicare, help paying, or options besides a walk-in tub are on your mind, the questions below have their own answers.
