Shower Replacement in Inverness: A Lower Step, a Simpler Job
What a new shower involves for Inverness, FL homes, including seats, grab bars and the finishes you choose.
Inverness is described as Florida's Small Town Done Right, and you probably like it that way. What you may not like is a shower with a high step, a slick floor or grout that never comes clean. You want that fixed in your Inverness home without a long project dragging on.
In Inverness, replacing a shower means the old one comes out and a Jacuzzi® shower system goes in. It has a low basin, so you step in instead of climbing over a ledge. The walls have a stone or tile look and are grout-free and antimicrobial. You can add a built-in seat or grab bars. One Inverness shower from 2025 has smooth Midnight Storm walls, Matte Black fixtures, a dual bypass door and a fold-down seat. Another, from 2023, has smooth Seaside walls, Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures and an open entry with no door. Only the wet area is touched, so the rest of the bathroom stays put.
Inverness, in Citrus County, is a small town with a walkable downtown around historic Courthouse Square. The area has a median age of 55.3 years. It sits on the western shore of the Tsala Apopka and Henderson lakes, with Fort Cooper State Park just south of the city. Whatever your age, think about the shower you will want years from now, not just today. Ask yourself whether a seat, grab bars or a lower step would help.
How big the job gets depends on your space and your choices. The size and layout of the shower area count, along with the base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish. A seat, shelves or grab bars will add to the scope. A designer prices the job at your home, and the free quote includes the product and the installation. Cost and timing questions each have their own page below.
You start by setting up a design visit. Every homeowner is asked to be part of it. A Love Your Bath designer comes to your Inverness home, listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the colors, finishes and safety features. On install day, the old shower comes out and the new one goes in. Before the crew leaves, they walk through each detail with you and switch on your lifetime warranty on the spot.
Once it is in, your morning shower feels steady and easy. You step in over a low basin, sit down if you want to, and wipe the walls clean when you are done. The vanity, floor and paint you chose stay just as they were. Then the day is yours, whether that means Liberty Park or the Withlacoochee State Trail.
Common questions about shower replacement in Inverness
What people in Inverness say
"Our Installer, Tristan, did an excellent job. Our new shower looks great! He left the bathroom cleaner than when he started and was careful not to leave any sign that half the bathroom had been ripped out to install the new shower. In the end, this was on the higher end of the quotes we got but, we are confident it was also the highest quality install."
"Alex was pleasant and did his job correctly. I’m very pleased with the outcome. Thank you Al."
"My disabled veteran family member was the reason we considered Love your Bath. In our situation Jerry was very reasonable in considering his needs and stood by his word. This is the honor I expect when dealing with a company that respects veterans. Truly appreciated. Thank you Jerry!"
"We just purchased a Jacuzzi shower remodel from Love Your Bath. The representative, Jose Quinones, showed us style, color, and hardware options in our home which made it a more pleasant experience vs. in a store. He described the installation process and showed us the quality of Jacuzzi products. We feel we made a great choice."
"Our experience with Jacuzzi was very professional, no pressure, and up front open communication with all points covered. Pricing was very competative and the sales rep did not play any games. The product is superior to another bath we changed and less expensive. We should have called Jacuzzi the first time."
"Alec was our installer and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect project. Everything went perfectly. Thank you very much Love Your Bath"
