Bathtub Replacement in Inverness: How It Works

Your Inverness tub might still hold water, but it is stained, dull or harder to climb into than it used to be. You would like a better tub without turning the whole house upside down. Bathtub replacement puts a new Jacuzzi® bathtub right where the old one was and leaves the rest of the bathroom alone.

Whether you live in Inverness Heights or elsewhere in town, the job looks the same once the crew is inside. The old tub is removed and the new one goes into the same space. Nothing outside the tub area is part of the work. You pick the style, such as a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub, plus the wall type and color, the base and the fixture colors. Options like slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars and built-in seating can be added. Each tub is made from a durable material that resists damage, keeps its color and has anti-microbial protection. In 2024, an Inverness bathtub replacement went in with Alabaster walls in a random stone pattern and Brushed Nickel fixtures.

Inverness sits on the western shore of the Tsala Apopka and Henderson lakes, in Citrus County. Its downtown has a historic courthouse. Those are facts about the town, and none of them sizes your tub for you. So look at your own bath. Notice how easy it is to step in and out, whether you would like a seat or grab bars, and what bothers you about the finish. Jot it all down before anyone visits.

Each tub is priced in your home, because each space is different. The quote depends on the size and layout of the tub area, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. It includes the product and the installation, so you see the full picture in one place. Ask about anything on the quote that is not clear to you. The cost and timing questions below each have their own answer.

Call Love Your Bath and pick a time for the design visit. Every homeowner is asked to sit in on that visit. A designer comes out, listens to what you want, and puts together a custom plan with options and a free quote. Have your notes ready. From that plan, the colors, finishes and safety features are yours to choose. On install day, the old tub comes out and the new one goes in. Installs can be done in as little as one day, with a second day for some, rarely.

Afterward, the tub is new and the rest of the room is just as you left it. Brenda A. wrote that "everyone at LYB made the process extremely easy." Your daily routine goes on as before, only with a tub that wipes clean fast. If a seat or grab bars were part of your plan, they are in place too.
