Staying Safe in Your Own Jacksonville Bathroom

Whether you are in Riverside, Ortega or out on the Northside, the reason to look is usually the same: the tub has become hard to get in and out of. You want to keep living in your Jacksonville home, and you just need the bathroom to keep up with you. The good part is that the work stays in the tub or shower area.

In Jacksonville, the work covers the tub or shower only. That can be grab bars, a built-in seat, a low entry or a barrier-free shower. It can be a tub-to-shower conversion, or a walk-in tub with a door, a seat and grab bars. Every Jacuzzi® shower and tub is made to your picks for walls, base and fixture colors. Here we have put in a walk-in tub and replaced a shower and a bathtub. The 2024 walk-in tub has smooth Quarry Topaz walls. The 2025 bathtub has Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern with Matte Black fixtures and an Alabaster White base.

Jacksonville is in Duval County, and the city and county consolidated in 1968. It is the largest city by land area in the contiguous United States, and it sits on the St. Johns River. Riverside Avondale is among its oldest neighborhoods, and San Marco grew after the Acosta Bridge opened in 1921. I-295 circles the city as the I-95 bypass. Ortega is a Jacksonville neighborhood as well, and Northside is one of its large areas. In your own home, check how you get over the tub wall and where your hands reach for support.

Pricing comes after the designer sees your space. It depends on the size and layout, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. Walk-in tubs add the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features chosen. The free quote is for the product and installation together. Floors, vanities and the rest of the room are not part of the work.

You call and pick a time. A designer from Love Your Bath comes out, and all homeowners are asked to be present. Plan the visit for a day when every homeowner can be home. You talk through what is hard, and the designer builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You pick colors, finishes and safety features. Installation is done mainly by their own crews, who go over every detail with you once the job is done.

Afterward, the room works with you instead of against you. You step in, sit when you want, and steady yourself on a bar. Nothing about the day needs a workaround. Saulo S. wrote that Marcel and Randy "were amazing and very professional." The Medicare, help-paying and walk-in tub alternative questions each have their own page below.
