How to get a new shower for less, without tearing up the bathroom
Replacing only the shower in Lakewood Ranch, FL, and the choices that set the price.
You like your Lakewood Ranch home and you are not looking for a big project. The shower is the only part of the bathroom that bugs you. You would rather not pay for new floors and cabinets just to fix the one thing in that room that is actually wrong.
A full bathroom remodel and a shower replacement are very different jobs. The remodel redoes the whole room. The shower replacement redoes only the shower. If your floor, cabinets and lights are fine, a full remodel spends money on things that did not need it. That is the first place budgets get lost.
Swapping just the shower is the leaner path. The old shower comes out and a Jacuzzi® shower system goes in, without gutting the room. What moves the price from there is the size and layout of your space, your base and wall choice, the fixture finish and add-ons like shelves or a seat. Choosing only the add-ons you will use keeps the quote lean. On timing, installs take in as little as one day; some need a second day, rarely.
Before you call anyone, walk into the bathroom and name what has to change. Write it down. Maybe it is the stained walls. Maybe it is the high step in. Then call Love Your Bath for a design visit. A designer listens, builds a custom plan with options and gives you a free quote with the product and the installation in it. You can see the plan with your must-haves and decide on the rest. Karen R. wrote that "every question was answered, every detail was completed as ordered."
In the end you have a new shower and a bathroom you never had to move out of. The money went to the one spot that needed it, and the rest of the room is just as you left it. For a sense of how a finished shower can look, a 2023 shower in Gainesville used smooth Sandstorm walls, Chrome fixtures and an open entry with no door.

Other things people in Lakewood Ranch ask
how much does a shower replacement cost
The price depends on the shower size, the base and wall style, and the extras you choose such as a seat, shelves or grab bars. Replacing only the shower costs much less than remodeling the whole bathroom. A designer measures at home and gives you a free, written quote.
are one day bath remodels worth it
A fast job is possible because only the tub or shower is replaced, not the whole room. What matters is the product and who stands behind it. We install genuine Jacuzzi® systems, mainly with our own crews, and activate a lifetime warranty when the job is done. Most jobs take as little as one day; some take longer, and we will tell you which at the design visit.
