Will you miss the tub, or the shower, after you switch?
Help with the tub or shower decision before a shower-to-tub conversion in Leesburg, FL.
Maybe your Leesburg bathroom lost its tub years ago, and now you wonder if it should come back. Or you are afraid that changing it, either way, will turn off a buyer or leave you wishing you had not. That is a sensible thing to weigh before you call anyone.
What you are really doing is trading one kind of comfort for another. A shower gives easier step-in access. A tub gives you a bath, which counts for small children and for anyone who loves to soak, and some people want one for resale. Regret tends to come from choosing for an imagined future instead of for the people who live in the house now.
Run through a quick check. Who bathes in this room each week? Are small children coming along, or growing out of baths soon? Is stepping over a tub wall easy for everyone? Does another bathroom in the house have a tub? If a tub is the answer but safety is a concern, a built-in seat and grab bars can be added to a Jacuzzi® tub. Either way, only the tub or shower area changes.
