Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Leesburg: Put the Bath Back
How a shower-to-tub conversion works for a home in Leesburg, FL, from the tub you pick to the finished walls.
If you live in Leesburg and your bathroom has a shower where you would rather have a tub, you have options. People want a tub back for children, for grandkids, for a long soak or for resale. The change is smaller than a remodel, and it starts with a visit to your home.
Leesburg, in Lake County, sits between Lake Harris and Lake Griffin, with U.S. 27, U.S. 441 and S.R. 44 all passing through town. Wherever your home is in Leesburg, a shower-to-tub conversion follows the same steps. The shower comes out, and a genuine Jacuzzi® bathtub goes in. You choose a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub. You pick the wall type and color, the base and the fixture colors. The materials are mold-resistant and easy to clean. Options include grab bars, built-in seating and a slip-resistant surface. Floors and vanities stay as they are, because only the tub area is part of the work.
Not much about the town itself changes how a tub goes in, so start with your own bathroom. Is this the only place in the house to wash up? Who will use the tub, and would they feel better with grab bars or a seat? Is there another bathroom to use on install day? Write it all down before the visit. Three showers have been replaced in Leesburg so far, and one of them has smooth Midnight Storm walls with Chrome fixtures.
Cost depends on the size and layout of your space, the tub, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish and any extras. Since only the tub area changes, the job stays focused. Every tub is quoted in your home. The quote covers the product and the installation, so both are in the number you see. The questions below go deeper on cost, permits and whether to switch at all.
First, you call to set a time. Next, a designer from Love Your Bath comes to your Leesburg home. Each homeowner is asked to take part. The designer hears your goals and builds them into a custom plan with options and a free quote. You pick your tub, colors and any safety features. Then the install takes place, done mainly by their own crews. Corene B. wrote of her installer, "He was polite and left my home clean."
When the job is done, the bathroom has a tub again, with walls that look new and colors you chose. Kids can splash, you can soak, and if the house goes on the market, it has a tub to show. The rest of the room is just as you left it.

"We had a great experience with Love your bath. Theykept me updated on when materials would be here and scheduled my install as soon as the knew it arrived. David H the installer was on time, very professional and pleasant he was very neat put cloths down on the floor and covered the counters. He completed the install on time. Love the shower install, they may be a bit higher than other companies, but you can’t beat the lifetime warranty and it’s transferable. Highly recommended!!"
"This is part 1 of 2 in a bathroom remodel. The work done by Jean Santiago and team mate with Love Your Bath which included tile, wall and floor removal and replacement has been superb. Jean restructured our shower area per specs and provided personalized options which left us with a excellent impression of his work. While work continues with Love Your Bath on finishing this remodel with glass and door work that Jean does not do, we feel the expectations he left for other workers will be hard to meet,"
"Just had “Coby” visit us to give us a quote on a new shower. We had planned on waiting until next year but wanted to know options while planning. After his thorough analysis, we realized we needed to move forward. His quote was competitive and detailed, and we appreciated his insight. Needless to say, we signed our contract on the spot! Looking forward to our new shower!"
"The guys did a great job removing my bathtub and installing a walk in shower. Highly recommend!"
