Bathtub Replacement in Melbourne: A New Tub, Same Bathroom
How a tub swap works in Melbourne, FL, what you choose, and what shapes the price.
If you live in Melbourne and your tub is worn, stained or hard to step into, you may like the rest of your bathroom just fine. You simply want that one tired tub gone. You would rather not have the whole room torn apart and live with the mess to fix it.
Bathtub replacement in Melbourne takes out the old tub and puts a new Jacuzzi® bathtub in its place. The work stays in the wet area, so the rest of the room is left as it is. Whether your home is near Historic Downtown Melbourne or closer to the Eau Gallie Arts District, you choose the tub, the walls around it and the fixture finish. Options include a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub, with a slip-resistant surface, grab bars or built-in seating. So far, crews have replaced three showers in Melbourne. A 2024 job here has Midnight Storm walls in a random stone pattern, Matte Black fixtures and a teak seat.
Melbourne sits on the Space Coast in Brevard County and borders the Indian River Lagoon. Wickham Park hosts the Melbourne Arts Festival. Those things are part of what makes Melbourne home, but they do not decide your plan. Your own bathroom does. Look at the tub surface for chips, stains or yellowing. Notice if stepping over the side feels like a climb. Think about whether a seat or grab bars would help someone in your house.
No set price fits every home, because every bathroom is different. Your price depends on the size and layout of your tub space, whether you want a bathtub or a shower, the base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish. Extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars are part of it too. Every tub and shower is quoted in the home. The free quote covers both the product and the installation.
It starts with a call to Love Your Bath. Next, a designer comes to your home, and all homeowners are asked to be there. The designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You pick the colors, the finishes and any safety features. On install day, the work is done mainly by their own crews, since their installers are primarily W-2 employees. When the job is done, the crew walks you through every detail.
When it is finished, your bathroom still feels like yours, only with a tub you are glad to use. The surface keeps its color and cleans up fast. If you chose grab bars or a seat, they are right where you need them. The questions below cover cost, one-day installs and picking a tub, if you want more before you call.
