Walk-In Tubs in Ocala: A Safer Bath You Can Still Soak In
A plain look at what a walk-in tub involves for a home in Ocala, FL, and how the job goes from start to finish.
Maybe you have started to dread stepping over the tub wall. Ocala has grown from 63,591 people in 2020 to an estimated 71,753 in 2025, and we help homeowners here with exactly that worry. You want to keep your long, warm bath. You just want to get in and out without a worry.
In Ocala, a walk-in tub swaps the climb over the tub wall for a low step in. You open a water-sealing door, sit on the built-in seat, and the tub fills around you. Grab bars sit where your hands reach for them, and the floor is anti-slip. You can add options such as water jets, heated air or a quick drain. The work stays on the tub itself. That is true whether you live in Midtown, North East or North Highlands Park.
Ocala is the county seat of Marion County, and it has grown fast. It is also called the Horse Capital of the World, with over 400 thoroughbred farms. None of that changes how a walk-in tub fits your bathroom. Your own home does. Look at how you get in and out of the tub today. Think about who bathes there, and whether a seat would help. Notice whether a spouse or helper stands nearby. Those answers shape the tub you pick.
The price depends on you and the space. Tub size matters, and so do the accessibility and wellness features you choose, like water jets, heated air or a quick drain. The shape of your bathroom matters too. No two bathrooms are the same, so every walk-in tub is quoted in your home. A designer visits, listens, and gives you a free quote that includes the tub and the installation. The cost question below has its own page.
It starts with a visit. Love Your Bath sends a designer to your home, and you are asked to be there. You talk through how you bathe, then choose the tub size, colors and features. When you say yes, our own installers handle the whole job, from taking out the old tub to setting the new one. At the end, the crew walks you through how everything works.
Afterward, bath time feels calm again. You step in instead of climbing, sit down, and soak as long as you like. What people in Ocala say
"Exceptional professionals that went the extra mile to ensure I was truly happy with my new walkin tub."
"What a great company to work with. From the salesman to the installer, everything moved very smoothly.. Our bathroom was installed and just two days. The installer was very thorough and worked very hard to work around us in our home leaving our home the same way he found it when he first arrived. I suggest if you’re looking for a new bathroom, give them a try."
""Love Your Bath" has the correct Name for it's product. The overall estimate, quality products and most of all the best designer for me was Jose, and the installers were the fabulous duo of Scott & Carlos. Excellent measurements, quality materials, and excellent install with cleanup and finish as promised. Price was reasonable. Install delivered and completed as promised."
"Install crew was great. They were tidy and courteous with good attention to detail. They started around 9:00 am and were done and gone by 5:00 pm. They installed a new shower enclosure in the guest bedroom and it looks great. My wife and I are very pleased."
"Tyler and Alec recently installed our new Jacuzzi tub and shower combo. I was very satisfied with their work and the quality of the materials. Also, after a minor issue arose with the bathtub faucet (an issue that did not prevent us from using the tub or shower), I was able to call Love Your Bath and arrange for Tyler to come out and fix the problem without issue."
"We couldnt be happier with our experience. Very easy to talk to very helpful choosing what would look good. The timing was very close to what we were told. Our shower turned out beautiful and was done in 2 days. We are thrilled with it and really liked everyone that was involved. So glad we chose Love Your Bath. Would highly recommend them. Overall great experience!"
