Is a tub or shower put in within a day really worth it?
What one-day bathroom remodeling means for your home in Orlando, FL, and how to judge the work.
A project that ties up your only shower for weeks sounds awful. So when you hear a new one can go in during a single day, you are interested and a little suspicious. Both reactions make sense. If you live in Orlando, here is how to tell whether fast also means good.
Fast does not have to mean careless. These installs replace only the tub or the shower and the walls around it, so the floor and the vanity are not torn out. With less to remove, a crew can get through the job in less time. What goes in is a genuine Jacuzzi® system, not a patch over the old one.
Installs take in as little as one day, and once in a while a second day is needed. John V. said his installer was "Very precise and cautious about his work." The price depends on the size and layout of the space, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars.
This week, call Love Your Bath and ask who will do your install. Their installers are primarily W-2 employees, their own people rather than mostly outside crews. Ask what the day looks like from start to finish and what you should do to get ready. Be wary of any company that promises every job is done in a day, no matter what.
When it is over, you have a new shower or tub and your home back to normal. Karen S. an Orlando customer, said the company "Was professional from beginning to end." One Orlando shower from 2024 now has smooth Midnight Storm walls and Matte Black fixtures.

The common mistakes are tearing out more than you need, hiring several trades who blame each other, and choosing materials with no real warranty. Replace only what needs replacing, use one company that installs and stands behind the work, and get the warranty in writing when the job is done.
