Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Orlando: Bring Back the Bath

Your Orlando home has a shower where you would rather have a tub. Maybe you want a warm soak at the end of the day, a place to bathe little ones, or a bathroom that fits what a future buyer looks for. You want to see the whole picture before you invite anyone over.

In Orlando, a shower-to-tub conversion means the shower comes out and a tub goes into the same wet area. New walls go up around it in the style you pick, with fixtures to match. The tub can be a classic alcove style or a deep-soaking one, part of a genuine Jacuzzi® system, and you can add a slip-resistant surface, grab bars or a built-in seat. Jacuzzi has 110+ years behind its name. In Orlando, two showers and one bathtub have been replaced. The bathtub job, from 2023, has walls in a herringbone pattern, Matte Black fixtures and an open entry with no door. One of the showers, from 2024, pairs smooth Midnight Storm walls with Matte Black fixtures.

Orlando is the county seat of Orange County, and it was the fastest-growing U.S. metro of over 1 million people in 2023-24. It also has a warm, humid climate. Those are facts about the city, not about your bathroom. What matters for the job is closer to home. Look at whether this would be the only tub, how much room the shower space gives you, and who will use the tub most. Those answers shape your plan more than any map.

The cost follows your choices and your space. The size and layout of the area, a tub or a shower, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars all play a part. Only the wet area is worked on, so the rest of the room stays as is. Each bathroom is quoted in person, and the free quote includes the product and the installation. The cost page below goes further.

The steps are simple. First, you set up a design visit, and all homeowners are asked to be present. Next, a designer listens and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Stephen D. wrote that Jared "spent a lot of time working with us through all the details." Then you choose your tub, walls and fixtures, and Love Your Bath schedules the install. At the end, the crew goes over every detail and activates the lifetime warranty right then.

Then the bathroom works the way you hoped. You run the water, sink in and look at walls in the color you chose. The questions about cost, permits and whether the swap makes sense each have their own page below.
