Bathroom Remodeling in Port St. Lucie: Just the Tub or Shower
What a tub or shower remodel covers, what the price depends on and the steps, for homes in Port St. Lucie, FL.
If you live in Port St. Lucie and your tub or shower has become the problem, you are probably not looking to redo the whole bathroom. You want the part you use every day to work better and look better. This page walks through what that kind of job involves and how it goes.
In Port St. Lucie, this kind of bathroom remodeling replaces the tub or the shower with a Jacuzzi® system, and nothing else in the room. Options include a shower replacement, a new bathtub, a conversion from tub to shower or shower to tub, and a walk-in shower with easier step-in access. You can add a built-in seat, grab bars or a barrier-free shower. Floors and vanities are not part of the work. We have replaced three showers in Port St. Lucie. A 2024 one has Brushed Nickel fixtures, an exposed roller door and a fold-down seat.
Port St. Lucie, in St. Lucie County, includes St. Lucie West and Tradition, a large planned community west of I-95. Crosstown Parkway connects I-95 with US 1 in the city. Wherever your home sits, the useful thing is to look closely at your own tub or shower. Is the step in getting harder? Would a seat help? Is there tile you want the new walls to go with? Karen M. wrote that Jared "worked with me to match my existing tile in the bathroom."
No two bathrooms are alike, so each shower and tub is quoted in person. The number depends on the space's size and layout, whether you want a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. For a walk-in tub, the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features you pick also count. Your free quote covers both the product and the install work. The cost question below goes deeper.
Step one is a phone call to set up the design visit, with all homeowners at home. Step two, a Love Your Bath designer listens and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Step three, you pick your wall type and color, your base, and your fixture colors. Then comes the install. At the end, the crew goes over every detail with you and activates your lifetime warranty on the spot.
When it is done, you have a shower or tub that fits your routine, with grout-free walls that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. The warranty covers you for as long as you own your Port St. Lucie home. The rest of the room is just as you left it, and the spot that used to bother you is the one you like best.
