Bathroom Remodeling in Punta Gorda for Your Tub or Shower
What the work covers, what the price depends on and how it goes, for homes in Punta Gorda, FL.
Maybe your Punta Gorda home has a tub that is getting harder to step over, or a shower that never looks clean anymore. You do not want a whole-room project. You want that one area done right, with a seat or grab bars if they would make things easier.
In Punta Gorda, bathroom remodeling this way means the wet area only. The old tub or shower comes out and a custom Jacuzzi® system goes in. Choices include a shower replacement, a new bathtub, a tub-to-shower or shower-to-tub conversion, and a walk-in shower with easier step-in access. Safety upgrades fit right in: grab bars, built-in seats, low entries and barrier-free showers. Floors and vanities stay as they are. We have replaced three showers in Punta Gorda. One from 2024 has Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern, Matte Black fixtures and a custom enclosure.
Punta Gorda, in Charlotte County, sits on the south bank of the Peace River, where it meets Charlotte Harbor. It is a retirement-oriented community, with a median age of 67.6 years and over 50% of residents aged 65 and older. If you are one of them, or you are helping a parent who is, think about the details. A seat to sit on while you wash. Grab bars where your hands reach. A low entry instead of a climb over the tub wall.
Each shower and tub is quoted in the home, because no two bathrooms are the same. The price rests on the size and layout of the space, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. Walk-in tubs are priced by the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features chosen. Both product and installation are part of the free quote. Cost has its own answer below.
You call and set up a design visit, and all homeowners are asked to be there. A Love Your Bath designer listens and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the wall type and color, the base, and the fixture colors. Installation is done mainly by their own crews, with installers who are primarily W-2 employees. Chad F. wrote that during the presentation in their home, Mr. Sebastian Rojas was "not merely selling a product but listening as to how to best serve our particular need."
When it is done, you have a tub or shower that suits the way you move today, in colors you picked. Grout-free shower walls mean no grout lines to scrub. The rest of your Punta Gorda bathroom stays put, and the one spot that was giving you trouble is handled.

"Just met with Brian and he went over everything and he helped share his opinions on what would look good. As a designer and his years of an experiences, he shared with us real customers photos, a mock up what it will look like, what the industry pricing is, competitors, and overall I can’t wait for the new shower to be installed.
