Worried your remodel will go sideways? Avoid these three traps
Common mistakes to sidestep before bathroom remodeling begins in your Punta Gorda, FL home.
Somebody always has a story about a remodel that went wrong, and you would rather not add yours to the pile. In Punta Gorda, if your tub or shower is the part that needs work, the fix can stay simple. The hard part is avoiding the choices that make it complicated.
Here is what usually goes wrong. Someone sets out to fix a shower and ends up tearing out the whole bathroom. Or the job gets split among several trades, and each one blames another when there is a problem. Or the new materials come with no real warranty behind them. Each of these can start small and grow into weeks of hassle and a job that never feels finished.
The fix is to replace only what needs replacing. If it is the tub or shower, that wet area is the whole job. Then the price depends on your space and choices: a shower or a bathtub, its size and layout, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and any seat, shelves or grab bars. A 2025 Punta Gorda shower has smooth Seaside walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures, an exposed roller door and a Quarry Topaz base.
This week, ask any company you call who does the install and what warranty you get. With Love Your Bath, installation is done mainly by their own crews, and installers are primarily W-2 employees. Products carry a lifetime warranty that covers you for as long as you own the home, and the crew activates it when the job is done. Barbara S. wrote, "Excellent product and excellent workmanship!!!!!" Write down each company's answers so you can compare them calmly.
Done this way, the only thing left to talk about is the new shower or tub. Michelle N. wrote, "Shower is beautiful. done quickly and West was great." You have a clean room, a finished job and a warranty in place in your Punta Gorda home, with nothing hanging over you.
What people in Punta Gorda say
"We are very pleased with the bathroom renovation done by Jodeci. This man did not even take a break for lunch and worked until 6 p.m. both nights he was here. Our renovation became more complicated due to the Cast iron bath tub and the age of our house. Jodeci didn't flinch just kept working. So glad we chose Love Your Bath"
"Installation great. Everything looks perfect. Installationers were great and very accommodating. Thanks"
"Shower is beautiful. done quickly and West was great. Looks awesome and so happy to finally have it done. Thank you."

how much does a jacuzzi bath remodel cost
The price depends on whether you replace the tub, the shower or both, the size of the space, and the finishes and safety features you pick. A designer comes to your home and gives you a free, written quote with every option priced, so there are no surprises.
are one day bath remodels worth it
A fast job is possible because only the tub or shower is replaced, not the whole room. What matters is the product and who stands behind it. We install genuine Jacuzzi® systems, mainly with our own crews, and activate a lifetime warranty when the job is done. Most jobs take as little as one day; some take longer, and we will tell you which at the design visit.
