Thinking about a new shower but worried about the price?
What drives the cost of a shower replacement in St. Petersburg, FL, and how to get a free quote for your own home.
Maybe you live in Old Northeast, near downtown St. Petersburg, or in one of the city's more than 100 other neighborhoods. Either way, the old shower is wearing out and you want a price before you plan anything. That is smart, as long as the number comes from your bathroom and not a guess.
A shower replacement takes out the old shower and puts a new Jacuzzi® shower in the same space. Nothing else in the bathroom is part of the job. That keeps the question simple. You are pricing a shower, with the base, walls and fixtures you choose, not a whole new room.
The size and layout of your shower space set the starting point. The base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish build on it. Extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars add more. One St. Petersburg shower from 2024 has Platinum herringbone walls, Matte Black fixtures and a fold-down seat. Only the shower is replaced, so the quote covers the shower, not the whole bathroom.
Your next step is a free quote at home. Love Your Bath answers its phones 24 hours a day, so you can call when it suits you and set up a design visit. A designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Bring a list of must-haves so nothing gets left out of the plan.
Then you know your number and what each choice adds. You can take your time with it. The quote covers the product and the installation, so you are not left guessing about either. Kenneth S. wrote that the installer "even cleaned up and made everything look perfect."

Other things people in St. Petersburg ask
least expensive way to replace a shower
The lowest-cost way to get a real new shower is to replace just the shower: a new base and wall system installed over a cleaned-out space, with no full gut. That is what we do with Jacuzzi® shower systems, and most jobs take as little as one day.
are one day bath remodels worth it
A fast job is possible because only the tub or shower is replaced, not the whole room. What matters is the product and who stands behind it. We install genuine Jacuzzi® systems, mainly with our own crews, and activate a lifetime warranty when the job is done. Most jobs take as little as one day; some take longer, and we will tell you which at the design visit.
