Shower Replacement in St. Petersburg for Easier Days at Home
What a new Jacuzzi® shower involves in a St. Petersburg, FL home: the work, the choices, the cost factors and the visit.
Whether you live in Old Northeast, near the EDGE District or in another St. Petersburg neighborhood, an old shower wears on you the same way. It gets harder to clean and harder to step into. You want a new one without turning the whole bathroom into a construction zone.
In a St. Petersburg home, a shower replacement takes out the old shower and sets a Jacuzzi® shower system in the same space. Only the wet area is touched, so floors and vanities stay. The base sits low for an easier step. The walls have a stone or tile look and are made for easy upkeep. You pick the wall type and color, the base and the fixtures. One St. Petersburg shower from 2025 has smooth Alabaster walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures and a dual bypass door. Two showers and one bathtub have been replaced in the city so far.
St. Petersburg sits in Pinellas County and has more than 100 neighborhoods. Old Northeast is a historic neighborhood next to downtown, and the EDGE District is on the western edge of downtown. Downtown St. Petersburg itself has galleries, museums and waterfront parks. With that many neighborhoods, your plan starts with your own bathroom. Check how you get in and out today, how much room you have, and whether a seat or grab bars would help.
Because the work stays in the shower space, it is much smaller than a full remodel. The price depends on the size and layout of the space, the base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish. Extras such as a seat, shelves or grab bars add to it. Each shower is quoted in your home, and the quote covers product and installation. Financing is offered for those who want it. The cost and least-expensive questions are answered on their own pages below.
To begin, you call Love Your Bath and set a time for a design visit. A designer comes to your home and listens to what you want. All homeowners are asked to be there. You see your options, pick colors and finishes, and get a custom plan with a free quote. Then the install is scheduled, the old shower comes out and the new one goes in.
Afterward, the shower is the simple part of your routine. The low base makes the step in easy, and the walls wipe clean. Any seat or grab bars you chose are right where you need them. Nicole G. wrote that the salesman "showed us all our options."

We did have some problems with some of the personnel that I am told no longer work there. We did however have two of the nicest installers. David and his helper were very professional and knowledgeable about the products answering any questions we had.
