Shower Replacement in Tampa, From Old Shower to New
How a Jacuzzi® shower replacement works in a Tampa, FL home: what changes, what it depends on and how the visit goes.
In Tampa, the search for a new shower often starts when the old one gets harder to live with. Maybe it is the stained grout, or the tub wall you have to lift a leg over. Whether your home is a Hyde Park bungalow or something newer, you want a better shower without tearing up the whole bathroom.
For a Tampa home, a shower replacement means the old shower comes out and a Jacuzzi® shower system goes into the same space. Only the wet area is part of the job. The base sits low, the walls have a stone or tile look, and the surfaces are grout-free and easy to wipe down. You choose the walls, the base and the fixture finish. One Tampa shower from 2025 has smooth Sandstorm walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures and a teak seat. In all, two showers and one bathtub have been replaced in Tampa.
Tampa is the county seat of Hillsborough County. I-4 and I-275 cross the city and meet near downtown, where the Tampa Riverwalk runs 2.6 miles along the Hillsborough River. Hyde Park has historic homes and bungalows from the 1920s and 1930s. Whatever the age of your home, the shower space gets planned as it is today. Look at how easy it is to step in, how much room you have, and whether a seat or grab bars belong in the plan.
Since only the shower is replaced, the job is much smaller than a full remodel. Your price depends on the size and layout of the space, the base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish. Extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars add to it. Every shower is quoted in the home, and the quote includes the product and installation. The cost and one-day questions each get a full answer below.
You start by calling Love Your Bath, which has an office in Tampa. A designer comes to your home, listens, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to be at the visit. After you pick your colors and features, the install is done mainly by their own crews. Jack B. a Tampa customer, said his installer was "punctual, knowledgeable, friendly & professional."
Once it is done, the shower fits the way you live now. You step in over a low base, the walls wipe clean, and the rest of the bathroom looks as it did. If you added a seat or grab bars, they are right where you need them.
