Want a new shower without tearing up the whole bathroom?
How a shower-only replacement works for Titusville, FL homes, including walk-in showers.
Your shower is tired, but the rest of the bathroom is fine. You do not want weeks of torn-out tile or a room you cannot use. In Titusville, as anywhere, the simplest path is to change only the part that needs it, the shower itself. That way the floor, the vanity and the mirror stay right where they are.
A full renovation means the floor, the walls, the vanity and often more all come out at once. A shower replacement does not. The old shower is taken out and the space is cleaned out. Then a new Jacuzzi® base and wall system goes in, with grout-free, antimicrobial surfaces that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. If stepping in has gotten harder, you can choose a low or barrier-free entry, which turns it into a walk-in shower.
Because the work stays in the wet area, the job has clear edges. The price depends on what you pick and on the space: the size and layout of the shower, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. Each shower is quoted in the home, and the free quote includes both the product and the installation. Installs take as little as one day, and once in a while a second day.
Start by looking closely at what you have now. Is it a tiled stall, an old fiberglass unit, or a tub you only stand in? Take a few photos and note what bugs you most. Then call Love Your Bath for a design visit at your Titusville home. A designer listens, then builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Ask about every choice that changes the price, so nothing surprises you later. Kim L. said they "kept me updated on when materials would be here."
When it is done, the old shower is gone and a new one stands in its place. The rest of the room looks just as it did before. You wipe the walls down with a cloth instead of scrubbing grout lines on your knees. And the bathroom is yours again, with one less thing to worry about.

alternative to a walk-in tub for the elderly
The most common alternatives are a walk-in shower with a low or barrier-free entry, a tub-to-shower conversion, and adding a built-in seat and grab bars. Each one removes the climb over the tub wall. A designer can show you all of them side by side at home and quote the one that fits.
