Tub-to-Shower Conversion in Venice for an Easier Step In

Venice calls itself the City on the Gulf. At home, though, the hardest part of your shower may be the tub wall you have to lift a leg over to get in. Swapping that tub for a walk-in shower in the same spot is one way to make every shower start with a simple step.

On Venice Island, in Bayshore Estates or out near Wellen Park, the job works the same way. The tub comes out, and a low-threshold Jacuzzi® shower goes into the space it left. Walls, base and fixture colors are all your call. A seat, shelves or grab bars can be added if they would help. Only the wet area is touched. In Venice, the work includes three shower replacements. A 2025 one pairs smooth Midnight Storm walls with Matte Black fixtures, and a 2023 one has Quarry Topaz walls with Brushed Nickel fixtures and a pivot door. From Venice, Jim K. wrote, "I was very pleased with the removal of our old tiled glass doors shower."

Venice is known as the Shark Tooth Capital of the World, for the fossil teeth found on its shore. Planner John Nolen mapped out its streets, and the Legacy Trail links walkers and bikers to downtown. The median resident age here is 69.8 years. None of that changes how a shower is built. What matters is your own room. Look at how snug the tub space is, who uses it, and whether a seat or a bar to hold would help.

Price gets its own page below, but here is the outline. Because each bathroom differs, every shower gets its own quote in the home. The number depends on the size and layout of your space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras such as a seat or shelves. Your free quote covers the product and the work to install it.

To start, you call Love Your Bath and set up a free design visit. All homeowners are asked to attend. A designer comes to the house, listens to what you want, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You decide on your colors, finishes and safety features. On install day, the crew removes the tub and fits the new shower in the same space. Installs are handled mainly by the company's own crews.

When it is finished, you walk into your shower instead of climbing into it. Your vanity and floors stay just as they were. Heather G. wrote that "the cleanliness during installation was impeccable." Luis G. said Tyler & Kevin "Always confirmed with us where we would like specific material to go."
