Disadvantages of a walk-in tub? Read this first
Honest answers on walk-in tubs for Altamonte Springs, FL, before you pick up the phone.
You like the idea of a walk-in tub, but you have read the downsides. The big one is sitting inside while it fills and again while it drains. That is a fair worry, and you should weigh it before you buy. If you live in Altamonte Springs and want a straight answer, here it is.
The biggest downside is real. A walk-in tub has a door that seals shut. So you step in, sit down, close the door, and then the tub fills. When you are done, you stay seated until the water drains. Some people feel a little chilly during that wait. Others do not mind at all. Quick drain is an option on walk-in tubs, so ask about it.
What a walk-in tub costs depends on you, so there is no number on this page. The size of the tub and the comfort features you choose change the job most. Water jets and heated air are options. Fewer extras keep it simpler. The free quote covers the tub and the installation.
This week, think about how you bathe now. Do you soak, or do you mostly shower? If you mostly shower, a walk-in shower may suit you better, with an easy step in and no waiting. If you love a long soak, the wait may be a fair trade. When you compare models, ask how fast each one fills and drains. A Love Your Bath designer will come to your home, look at your bathroom, and tell you honestly which one fits. Either way, you get a genuine Jacuzzi® system.
