Disadvantages of a walk-in tub? The honest answer
Honest answers on walk-in tubs for St. Petersburg, FL, from the wait to the other choices.
You like the idea of a walk-in tub, but you have read about sitting inside while it fills and drains. That is a fair worry. If you live in St. Petersburg, in Pinellas County, you want a straight answer before you call anyone. Here are the real downsides, and how to tell if this tub fits you.
The biggest downside is real. You step in, close the door, and sit while the tub fills. When you are done, you stay seated until the water drains. You cannot step out halfway through. That is how a walk-in tub works, because the door has to seal. Some people do not mind the wait. Others find it a bother. Knowing which one you are matters most.
The other downsides are smaller. What your job involves depends on the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features you choose, such as water jets or heated air. No two bathrooms are the same, so the quote is done in your home and includes both the product and the installation.
This week, think about how you bathe today. Do you soak a few times a week, or shower every morning? If you mostly shower, a walk-in shower may suit you better. When you compare models, ask how fast each one fills and drains. Then call Love Your Bath, a Jacuzzi® Bath Remodel dealer. A designer will come to your home, listen to what you want, and build a custom plan with options and a free quote.
Once you pick the right fit, bathing feels calm again. You step in instead of climbing over a tub wall. A built-in seat and grab bars are there when you want them. Sarah F. put it this way: "Exceptional professionals that went the extra mile to ensure I was truly happy with my new walkin tub." The products carry a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the home.
