Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Bonita Springs: Getting a Bath Back
How a shower becomes a soaking tub in Bonita Springs, FL, what you get to choose, and how the work unfolds.
Some days a shower is not enough, and you want a tub to sink into. Maybe the grandkids need a bath when they visit Bonita Springs, maybe you want a soak after a day out, or maybe you are thinking about the next buyer. Whatever the reason, you want it done without tearing up the whole bathroom.
A shower-to-tub conversion here works like this. The shower comes out, and a genuine Jacuzzi® bathtub goes into the same space. You pick a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub, then the walls, the base color and the fixture finish. Add slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars or built-in seating if you want them. The materials are mold-resistant and easy to clean. Only the wet area changes, so the floor and vanity stay as they are. One Bonita Springs shower replacement from 2025 has smooth Champagne walls, Chrome fixtures and an exposed roller door, which gives you a feel for the kinds of choices on the table.
Bonita Springs sits on Florida's southwest coast, with I-75 and US 41 both running through town. It sees large seasonal swings, as snowbirds and tourists arrive mostly in the winter months. Pelican Landing and Bonita Bay are among its neighborhoods. All homeowners are asked to be at the design visit, so plan it for a time when everyone is in town. Then think about your own home: is this the only bathroom, and who uses it most?
Price is set in your home, not on the phone, since no two bathrooms match. The size and layout of the space, the tub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars all play a part. The free quote includes the product and the installation. Many installs are done in as little as one day, with a second day needed only rarely. The cost question has its own answer below.
