Walk-In Showers in Kissimmee: A Step In, Not a Climb

Most people start looking when the tub wall starts to feel taller than it used to. Maybe it is your own bathroom in Kissimmee, or maybe it is a parent's. You want to step into the shower, sit if you need to and hold onto something solid, without turning the whole house upside down to get there.

A walk-in shower takes the place of the old tub or shower. The tall tub wall goes away, and you get a low or barrier-free entry instead, so you step in rather than climb over. A built-in seat and grab bars can go where you want them. The walls are a Jacuzzi® shower system with grout-free, antimicrobial surfaces that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. The work stays on the wet area, so your floors and vanity are left alone. Three showers have been replaced in Kissimmee, and one from 2024 has Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern, Chrome fixtures and a teak seat.

Kissimmee is the county seat of Osceola County. US-192 and I-4 are its major roads, and visitors pass through town to reach Walt Disney World nearby. It is also a residential community with a diverse population. For your shower, though, what matters most is inside your own bathroom. Stand next to the tub and ask a few questions. How high is the step? Is there a solid spot to grab when you get out? Would a seat help on a tired day? Your answers to those questions shape the plan more than anything else.

A walk-in shower gets quoted inside your own home, since no two bathrooms are alike. The price depends on the size and layout of the space and on what you pick for it, from the base, the wall style and finish and the fixture finish to extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. A simple layout with few extras is a smaller job. A larger space with a seat, shelves and several grab bars is a bigger one. Your free quote rolls the product and the installation into one number.

It starts with a call to set up a design visit at your home. Every homeowner is asked to sit in on that visit. Your designer starts by listening, then puts together a custom plan with options and a free quote. From there, the colors, finishes and safety features are your call. Installation is done mainly by Love Your Bath's own crews, and its installers are primarily W-2 employees. When the job is done, the crew goes over every detail before they leave.

Afterward, getting clean is simple again. You walk in instead of climbing, sit when you want to and reach a grab bar without hunting for it. The walls wipe down with no grout lines to scrub.
