Bathtub Replacement in Lakeland: A New Tub, Same Bathroom
What a new tub involves, what sets the price and how the work goes, for homes in Lakeland, FL.
Lakeland sits on I-4 between Tampa and Orlando, and it is the largest city on that stretch. If you live here and your tub is stained, chipped or hard to step into, you may want a new one without redoing the bathroom around it. That is exactly what bathtub replacement is for.
In a Lakeland home, bathtub replacement means the old tub comes out and a new Jacuzzi® tub goes in where it stood. The work stays in the wet area. You can choose a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub. You pick the wall type and color, the base and the fixture colors. Slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars and built-in seating can be added. In 2025, a Lakeland bathtub replacement went in with Crystal Frost walls in a carved stone pattern and Matte Black fixtures. It shows how much the look can change while the room around the tub stays the same.
Lakeland grew from 97,422 people in 2010 to 112,641 in 2020. Whatever the age of your own house, the questions for your tub are the same. Look at how you get in and out. Look at the finish and the corners where grime builds up. Think about whether a seat or grab bars would make bathing easier. Those answers shape your plan more than anything else, so write them down before anyone visits.
The price depends on your choices and your space. It takes in the size and layout of the tub area, whether you want a tub or a shower, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras such as a seat, shelves or grab bars. Since every bathroom is different, each job is quoted in person. The free quote includes the product and the installation.
It starts with a phone call to set up a design visit. Next, a designer from Love Your Bath comes to your home, listens to what you want, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to be present. Then you pick your colors, finishes and safety features. On install day, the work is done mainly by their own crews, whose installers are primarily W-2 employees. Before they leave, the crew walks you through every detail.
When it is over, you step into a tub you chose, fitted to your space. Michael M. wrote that the installers "were professional and gave me a complete briefing on the tub's operation and maintenance." You know how to care for it, and the old, worn tub is gone for good.
Common questions about bathtub replacement in Lakeland
What people in Lakeland say
"When the istallation date arrived, I was quite surprised it was only one person who rang the doorbell. John Westfall arrived on time and proceded to the job at hand by himself. In less than two days he removed the bath tub, stripped the walls down to the studs, replaced all the plumbing with new, and installed an excellent looking shower with doors. My wife and I are very happy on how it all looks and works. After pricing out several companies, we were happy with our decision. Great job John and all. Thank you."
"Great job and finished install in one day. Very professional installers and great communication."
