Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Lehigh Acres: Bring Back the Bath

Lehigh Acres is one of the fastest growing communities in Lee County, and the median age here is 34.8 years. If your home has a shower where a tub would make bath time easier, you are in the right place. A shower-to-tub conversion puts a tub back without redoing the whole room.

Here is what the job looks like in a Lehigh Acres home. The shower comes out. A genuine Jacuzzi® bathtub goes in, either a classic alcove tub or a deep-soaking tub. A new wall surround goes up in the style you choose, with your pick of wall type and color, base and fixture colors. The tub material resists damage, keeps its color and has anti-microbial protection. Slip-resistant surfaces, grab bars and built-in seating are options. One Lehigh Acres bathtub replacement from 2024 has smooth Seaside walls, Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures and an open entry with no door.

Homestead Road and Lee Boulevard are the main commercial roads in Lehigh Acres, and Harns Marsh Preserve covers 578 acres here. None of that changes how a tub goes in, so look at your own home instead. If this is the only shower, think about where everyone will wash on install day. Think about who the tub is for: small children, teens or you after work. Decide whether you want grab bars or a seat from the start. In Lehigh Acres, two shower replacements and one bathtub replacement are already done.

Cost depends on your space and your picks. Size and layout come first, then the tub, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish and extras like shelves. Every tub is quoted in the home, and the quote includes both product and installation. Questions on cost, permits and whether to switch at all each have their own page below.

You start with a call. A designer from Love Your Bath visits your Lehigh Acres home, and all homeowners are asked to attend. The designer learns what you are after and puts it into a custom plan with options and a free quote. Traci P. said of her visit, "I felt like I was meeting with a friend vs a sales person." You make your picks, and installation is done mainly by their own crews, so one company is accountable from start to finish.

When the work is done, there is a tub where the shower stood. Bath time for little ones is simple, and you have a place to soak at the end of a long day. The walls look new, and the rest of the bathroom is just as it was.
