Shower-to-Tub Conversion in Naples: A Bath That Fits You

You may have a shower where you would rather have a tub. Maybe you miss a long soak, the grandkids need bath time when they visit, or you are thinking ahead to selling. For a home in Naples, in Collier County, here is how that change works.

In Naples, a shower-to-tub conversion means the shower in your bathroom comes out and a Jacuzzi® tub goes into the same space. The walls around it are redone in the style and color you choose, and the fixtures are picked to match. Nothing outside the wet area is touched. Whether your home is in Park Shore, Olde Cypress or near Fifth Avenue South, the work stays inside that one spot. We have replaced two showers and one bathtub in Naples. One of those showers has Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern with Chrome fixtures. The bathtub has smooth Alabaster walls with Brushed Nickel fixtures.

Naples is known for appealing to retirees. At the 2020 census, 54.9% of Naples residents were 65 or older. If that describes your household, think about getting in and out as much as bathing. A tub can come with a slip-resistant surface, grab bars and built-in seating. If a step over the tub wall is already hard, talk that through before you decide. And if grandkids visit, a tub makes their bath time simpler.

Each tub is quoted in your home, because no two bathrooms are alike. The price depends on the size and layout of the space, the tub you pick, the base, the wall style and finish, and the fixture finish. Add-ons like a seat, shelves or grab bars change it too. The quote includes the product and the installation. Deeper questions on cost and permits each have their own page below.

Here is how it goes. You reach Love Your Bath and set a time for a designer to come to your Naples home. All homeowners are asked to be there. The designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the tub, the wall color and the fixtures. On install day, the crew removes the shower and puts in the new tub and walls. The install is done mainly by the company's own crews. When the work is done, they walk you through every detail.

When it is finished, you have a tub that fits how you live now. Tom M. put it this way: "From the design consultation to the installation everything progressed smoothly." You can run a bath for yourself or for a visiting grandchild, in a room that still feels like your own.
