Tub-to-Shower Conversion in Lehigh Acres: What Changes
How a tub-to-shower conversion works for a home in Lehigh Acres, FL, from the first visit to the finished shower.
Some people come to this for themselves, and some for a parent who lives with them. Either way, if you are in Lehigh Acres and the tub wall has become the hardest part of getting clean, a low-threshold shower in that same spot is the change to look at. The rest of the bathroom stays the way it is.
In Lehigh Acres, a tub-to-shower conversion keeps things simple. The tub is taken out, and a Jacuzzi® shower with a low entry goes in. You choose the wall type and color, the base, and the fixture finish, and you can add a seat, shelves or grab bars. Wall systems are grout-free, with antimicrobial surfaces that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. We have replaced two showers and one bathtub in Lehigh Acres. One shower from 2025 has Alabaster walls in a subway pattern and Chrome fixtures, and the bathtub from 2024 has smooth Seaside walls.
Lehigh Acres is in Lee County and is one of the fastest growing communities there. The median age is 34.8 years. Homestead Road and Lee Boulevard are its main commercial roads, and Harns Marsh Preserve covers 578 acres. Your bathroom, though, is what decides the plan. Check who uses the tub, whether a seat would help, and where a grab bar would feel right when you step in or out.
Every shower is quoted in your home, because no two bathrooms are the same. Price follows the size and layout of the space and what you choose for the base, walls, fixture finish and extras, and the free quote includes the product and installation. Installs take in as little as one day. Only the tub or shower area is part of the work. Cost and permits each get their own page below.
Step one is calling Love Your Bath to set up a free design visit. All homeowners are asked to be present. The designer listens to what you want, then builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Donna S. wrote that the installers "Asked questions before completing a task and went above and beyond with this job." When you are ready, the crew takes out the tub and installs your shower.
When it is done, getting into the shower takes one easy step. The walls and fixtures are the ones you picked, and nothing else in the room was torn up to get there. It is the same bathroom, just easier to use every day.
Common questions about tub-to-shower conversion in Lehigh Acres
What people in Lehigh Acres say
"Had a Garden Tub to Walk in shower conversion . Tristan was the installer. He did this 2 day job by himself . I was very impressed with his skills during demo and install in a 3rd floor condo incased in concrete. He had to break out the jack hammer to complete the drain. Once completed the Shower is awesome. Thank you Paul G"
"The product is wonderful, however, our installers were the best ever. Asked questions before completing a task and went above and beyond with this job I would have them back in my home anytime."
"Scott and Jose made the process of getting a new bathtub/shower very easy. They visited my home and presented multiple samples to choose from, educated me about the products, and answered all my questions. They took accurate measurements of the bathtub/shower. Both has friendly fun personalities. During the process, Scott communicated with me via text to keep me updated on the products and installation. The day of installation went exactly as described- Randy showed up on time and he was able to get the installation and cleanup completed by the end of the day. I love my guest bathroom and I plan to hire them again for my master shower."
