Replacing Your Shower in Orlando: What the Job Involves
A clear look at shower replacement for Orlando, FL homes: the work, the choices and the steps.
Your Orlando shower is worn out, and scrubbing the grout has stopped working. You want a new one, but not a project that takes over the house for weeks. Whether you live near Lake Eola or in Parramore, here is what the job looks like when only the shower changes and the rest of the bathroom stays put.
In Orlando, a shower replacement swaps the old stall for a Jacuzzi® shower system: a low base, a wall surround with a stone or tile look, and new fixtures. Nothing else in the room is part of it. The jobs done here show how much room there is to choose. One shower from 2024 has smooth Midnight Storm walls, Matte Black fixtures and an Alabaster White base. Another, from 2025, has Sandshell Beige walls. Dark walls with black fixtures or a soft beige, the call is yours. We have replaced two showers and one bathtub in Orlando so far.
Orlando has a warm, humid climate. The walls on these showers are grout-free, with antimicrobial surfaces that help reduce mold and mildew buildup in any bathroom that gets daily use. Orlando is also the county seat of Orange County, and it was the fastest-growing U.S. metro of over 1 million people in 2023-24. Wherever your home is, look at your own shower first. Note the step in, the stains, and whether a seat would help.
Every shower is quoted in your home, since no two bathrooms match. The total depends on the size and layout of the space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like shelves, a seat or grab bars. The free quote includes the product and the installation. Many installs are done in as little as one day; some take a second day, rarely.
You start by calling Love Your Bath and setting up a design visit. A designer comes over, listens, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to be there. You choose the colors and features. Trish D. in a review from Orlando, called the free in home design consultation "very informative and fun." After that, the install date is set and the crew does the work.
Once it is in, your shower is the easy part of the day again. The walls wipe down, the base is low, and the look is the one you picked. The rest of your Orlando bathroom stays the same, and there is no long project hanging over the house.

What people in Orlando say
"I hired Love Your Bath to install a bath and shower to replace the one I’ve had for 20 years. The price was affordable and Angie did an amazing job and was very detailed, thorough, and is just a genuinely nice person. I am very pleased with her work and plan to hire Love Your Bath to install a shower in my 2nd bathroom. Would definitely recommend!"
"Was professional from beginning to end. The sales rep was knowledgeable about his product. From there the company stayed in regular contact with me advising of timelines with product ordering, permits, etc. Once the installation date was set, a wonderful installer named Angie came and completed the demo and installation single handedly. She was professional, neat and obviously experienced in what she was doing. The company even went over and above driving to a distribution center in Orlando early morning to pick up a special drain needed for my installation to be completed on time. All in all I would recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel."
