Wondering what a tub-to-shower conversion will run you?
A plain look at what shapes the price of a tub-to-shower conversion in Ponte Vedra, FL.
Before you invite anyone into your Ponte Vedra home, you want to know if swapping the tub for a walk-in shower is within reach. That is a sensible place to start, and a quick number found online will not settle it. A fair answer depends on details that only your own bathroom can supply.
Price questions about this job are hard to answer from a distance. One bathroom has a narrow alcove and another has more room. One homeowner wants a plain finish, and another wants a patterned wall with a seat. Each of those changes the total, which is why the prices you see online vary so much and rarely fit your house. Two homes on the same street can end up with very different plans.
The quote is built in your home. What goes into it: the size and layout of the shower space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and any extras like grab bars, shelves or a seat. Both the Jacuzzi® product and the installation are included in the free quote. In Ponte Vedra, one 2023 shower replacement used Sandshell Beige walls in a 3x6 subway pattern with a pivot door, a good example of how many choices you have.
Before the visit, decide what you will not give up, such as a seat or a certain wall look. Then schedule a free design visit with Love Your Bath, and plan for all homeowners to be present. The designer listens, then builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Ask about financing at that visit if it would help, and ask any other question about the quote while the designer is there. Avoid signing anything based on a phone estimate from someone who has not seen your space.
Then you know your number and can decide on your own terms. Charles S. kept his review short: "Very happy with the shower." Whatever you choose, you end up with a shower you step into instead of a tub you climb over, and a price you understood from the start.

is it a good idea to convert a tub to a shower
Think about who uses the bathroom today and in the next few years. A walk-in shower is easier and safer to step into. A tub matters more to families with small children. If the home has another tub, converting one is rarely a problem. Our designer will talk it through with you before you decide.
