Tub-to-Shower Conversion in Ponte Vedra, Built to Your Taste
How a tub becomes a walk-in shower in a Ponte Vedra, FL home, and what you get to choose along the way.
If you live in Ponte Vedra and the tub has started to feel like an obstacle, this page is for you. Maybe your knees complain on the way in, or you worry about a parent slipping on the way out. A conversion takes that tub wall away and leaves a low step in its place.
Ponte Vedra is primarily a residential area, and this is work done inside the home you already live in. The crew takes out the tub and sets a low-threshold Jacuzzi® shower in its spot. The floors, the vanity and everything outside the wet area stay untouched. After that, it comes down to choices. Three showers have been replaced in Ponte Vedra, and each one looks different. One from 2025 has Platinum walls in a carved stone pattern and a dual bypass door. A 2023 job used Sandshell Beige walls in a 3x6 subway pattern with a pivot door. Another from 2025 went with Alabaster walls in a herringbone pattern and Brushed Nickel fixtures.
Ponte Vedra sits in St. Johns County, with A1A running along the coast through Ponte Vedra Beach. The area borders the Guana Tolomato Matanzas reserve, and TPC Sawgrass hosts The Players Championship. None of that changes how a shower goes in. What matters is inside your own house. Look at how much room the tub takes up, how the space is laid out, and who will step into the shower each day.
Pricing is set in your home, since no two bathrooms match. It depends on the size and layout of the tub space, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras such as shelves, a seat or grab bars. The free quote takes in the product and the installation together. You pick the colors, finishes and safety features, so the plan reflects what you chose.
It starts with a phone call to set up a design visit, and all homeowners are asked to be there. A designer from Love Your Bath comes to the house, listens to what you have in mind, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. Once you say yes, you settle the final details. On install day, the crew removes the tub, puts in the new shower, and goes over every detail with you before leaving.
Afterward, the bathroom works for the way you live now. You step in over a low threshold instead of climbing, and you shower without thinking twice. Kathryn K. wrote that her new shower "is beautiful and very functional" and that "The exact colors were made to my specifications & it looks great."

"Jode C came to my house prepared and on time. His scope of work was exactly what I had expected. He went above and beyond to complete the job. With a hiccup or 2 he never shy’d away. He definitely knows what he is doing. He was very respectful when speaking to him and left the place just as he found it clean! Little pricey for just a shower but I’m happy with the completed job! Thank you for the fine job you did and going above and beyond to complete the project"
