Bathroom Remodeling in Sarasota for an Easier Shower or Tub
What a tub or shower remodel involves in Sarasota, FL, what the price depends on and how the visit and install go.
Maybe the tub you step over every day in your Sarasota home is getting harder to manage. Maybe a parent is coming to stay and the shower is not set up for them. Either way, you want the bathroom to work for the years ahead without tearing the whole room apart.
In Sarasota, bathroom remodeling means swapping out the tub or the shower and leaving the rest of the room alone. That can be a tub-to-shower conversion, a walk-in shower with an easier step-in, or a new bathtub. It can also be a walk-in tub with a built-in seat and grab bars. Every shower is a Jacuzzi® system, custom to the space. Three showers have been replaced in Sarasota this way. One from 2024 has smooth Seaside walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures and a dual bypass door. Another 2024 shower pairs Platinum walls in a random stone pattern with Chrome fixtures.
Sarasota is the Sarasota County seat, known for the arts and for places like the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. In the 2020 census, 29.5% of Sarasota residents were 65 or older, and the city ranks as a top U.S. retirement destination. Housing here mixes single-family homes, multi-unit buildings and mobile homes. Whatever kind of home you have, check your own bathroom. How high is the step into the tub? Is there anything to hold? Is there a place to sit?
Every shower and tub is quoted in the home, since no two bathrooms are alike. The price depends on what you choose and on your space: the size and layout of the shower or tub area, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. The free quote includes the product and the installation. What it costs has its own page below.
First, call to set up a design visit. A designer from Love Your Bath comes to your home, listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to be there. Second, you choose your colors, finishes and safety features. Third, the crew removes the old tub or shower and installs the new one. Last, the crew goes over every detail with you and activates the lifetime warranty right then.
After that, the bathroom feels like yours again. Susan K. wrote that the new walk-in shower took "our 70ies shower area to NOW look brand new!!" And the warranty covers you for as long as you own the home.
