Bathroom Remodeling in Tampa: New Tub or Shower, Same Room
What replacing your tub or shower involves in Tampa, FL, from the first call to the final walk-through.
Your Tampa bathroom works fine except for the tub or shower. It is hard to get into, the walls look worn, or it no longer fits how you live. You would rather fix that one part than rip out the whole room. This page walks through what that looks like, step by step, so you know what you are signing up for.
Here, bathroom remodeling stays in the wet area. The tub or shower comes out and a Jacuzzi® system goes in, built around the colors, finishes and safety features you pick. Options include a shower in place of a tub, a tub in place of a shower, a walk-in shower with easier step-in access, or grab bars and a built-in seat. The floor and the vanity stay where they are. We have replaced two showers and a bathtub in Tampa, including a 2026 bathtub with Canyon walls and Brushed Nickel fixtures. One 2025 shower has Alabaster walls in a 6x24 subway pattern and Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures.
Tampa is the Hillsborough County seat. Hyde Park has historic homes and bungalows from the 1920s and 1930s, and Carrollwood's first homes sold in 1959. Whatever part of town you are in, take a good look at your own tub or shower before the visit. Note how easy it is to step in, how the walls look, and whether you would like a seat or grab bars. Those notes make the design visit go faster.
No two bathrooms are the same, so every tub and shower is priced at your home. The quote rests on the space's size and layout, shower or bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and add-ons like shelves. Walk-in tub quotes also weigh the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features chosen. Product and installation are both included. The cost question below digs in further.
You call and choose a time. A Love Your Bath designer visits with all the homeowners present, listens, and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You pick the colors, finishes and safety features. On install day, the crew takes out the old tub or shower and fits the new one. When it is done, they go over every detail with you and activate the lifetime warranty on the spot.
From then on, the warranty covers you for as long as you own your Tampa home. Your tub or shower fits the way you live now. In a review from Tampa, Tom S. wrote, "Love Your Bath, Tampa is an amazing company to work with."
