Bathroom Remodeling in Vero Beach: Replace the Tub or Shower
For Vero Beach, FL homeowners: how a tub or shower replacement works, what it covers and what it depends on.
If you are searching from Vero Beach, chances are one piece of the bathroom is bugging you. The tub is hard to climb into, the shower walls look tired, or you just want something that fits how you live now. You want that fixed, and you want the rest of the room left alone.
For a Vero Beach home, this kind of remodel covers the tub or shower area and nothing else. The old unit comes out and a Jacuzzi® shower or bath system goes in, with walls, a base and fixtures you pick. You can also convert a tub to a shower or a shower to a tub. Grab bars, a built-in seat or a low entry can be added if you want them. Three showers in Vero Beach have been replaced this way, one of them a 2025 shower with smooth Champagne walls and Brushed Nickel fixtures. The floor, the vanity and the cabinets stay as they are.
Vero Beach is the county seat of Indian River County, and its median age is 55.6 years. It has a subtropical climate, public beaches like South Beach, and gated barrier island communities such as Castaway Cove. Those facts describe the town. Your bathroom is what decides the job, so look at it with fresh eyes. Is getting in and out still easy? Do the walls clean up well? Would a seat make mornings simpler?
Each tub and shower gets quoted in the home, since no two bathrooms match. The price depends on the size and layout of your tub or shower space, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras such as a seat, shelves or grab bars. The quote covers both the product and the installation. What it costs and whether a one-day job is worth it each have a page below.
It begins with a phone call. A Love Your Bath designer then visits, listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to take part. You pick the colors, finishes and safety features. The install is done mainly by their own crews, whose installers are primarily W-2 employees. Carol O. wrote that the installer did "an absolutely amazing job on the removal of my tub and the install of the new shower."
In the end, you have a shower or tub that suits you now and later. The walls wipe clean, the fixtures match what you chose, and the rest of the room is the bathroom you already know. That is the whole point.
