Bathroom Remodeling in Winter Haven: What a New Shower Takes
For Winter Haven, FL homeowners: how a tub or shower replacement works, what it depends on and how the visit goes.
Winter Haven calls itself the Chain of Lakes City, but the water on your mind today is the water in your own bathroom. Maybe the shower walls look worn, or stepping over the tub has gotten harder. You want a fix for that one spot in your Winter Haven home, not a whole new room.
Here, the job is the wet area. Your old tub or shower is removed and a Jacuzzi® shower or bath system is installed in its place. Every one is custom, from the wall color to the fixtures. You can switch a tub to a shower, keep a tub, or add a fold-down seat and grab bars. Three showers in Winter Haven have been replaced. One has smooth Crystal Frost walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures, an exposed roller door and a fold-down seat. Floors, vanities and lighting are not part of the work.
Winter Haven sits in Polk County, between Tampa and Orlando. It has 50 lakes inside its borders, and two chains of lakes are joined by canals. LEGOLAND Florida stands just east of town, on the old Cypress Gardens site. None of that decides your bathroom job. Your space does, so look at it closely. Is the entry easy? Would a seat help? Which finishes would you enjoy every day?
There is no set price, because no two bathrooms are the same. Your quote depends on the size and layout of your shower or tub space, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras such as a seat, shelves or grab bars. It includes the product and the installation. The cost question and the one-day question each have a page of their own below.
You start with a call. A designer visits your home, listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. All homeowners are asked to be present for it. You pick the colors, finishes and safety features. The install is then done mainly by Love Your Bath's own crews. Sharon H. wrote that Jason "completely sealed the bathroom & dirt was totally contained!"
Once it is done, you have a shower or tub that suits the way you live. The colors are yours, the safety pieces are where you want them, and the rest of the bathroom is the same room you know. Getting ready in the morning just gets easier.
