Bathroom Remodeling in Melbourne: Just the Tub or Shower

Maybe you like your Melbourne bathroom just fine, except for the tub or shower. The tub has become hard to climb over, or the stall never looks clean. Whether home is in West Melbourne or near the Eau Gallie Arts District, you want to fix the part you use every day without tearing up the whole room.

Bathroom remodeling here means the wet area, the tub or the shower. The floor, the vanity and the cabinets stay as they are. Common jobs are shower replacements, new bathtubs, tub-to-shower and shower-to-tub conversions, walk-in tubs and walk-in showers. Safety upgrades fit in too, like grab bars, a built-in seat, a low entry or a barrier-free shower. Shower walls are grout-free, with antimicrobial surfaces that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. In Melbourne, we have replaced three showers, each one custom. One from 2024 has Midnight Storm walls in a random stone pattern, Matte Black fixtures and a teak seat. Another, from 2025, has smooth Sandstorm walls and Brushed Nickel fixtures.

Melbourne, in Brevard County, has two downtowns: Historic Downtown Melbourne and the Eau Gallie Arts District, which sits along the Indian River Lagoon. Wickham Park hosts the Melbourne Arts Festival, and the city's median age is 44.4 years. None of that sets the scope of your job. Your own bathroom does. Check how easy it is to step in and out, whether you want a seat or grab bars, and how much scrubbing the walls take now.

Every shower and tub is quoted in the home, because no two bathrooms are the same. The price depends on what you pick and on the space: the size and layout of the shower or tub area, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. For a walk-in tub, it depends on the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features you choose. The quote covers the product and the installation, and the cost question has its own page below.

First, you call Love Your Bath and set a time for a designer to come out. All homeowners are asked to be at that visit. The designer listens to what you want and builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You pick the wall type and color, the base and the fixture finish. On install day, the work is done mainly by their own crews, who walk you through every detail when they finish.

When it is done, the tub or shower you dreaded is gone, and the rest of the room looks just as it did. Debbi H. put it simply: "My shower looks amazing." Mornings get a little easier, and the worries still on your mind have their own answers below.
