Bathroom Remodeling in Naples: New Tub or Shower, Same Room
What bathroom remodeling looks like in Naples, FL: the work, what shapes the price and how the visit goes.
Naples is known for appealing to retirees. If you plan to stay in your home for years, the spot that bothers you most may be the tub, now hard to step over, or a shower that looks tired. From Park Shore to Olde Cypress, you want that one spot fixed without living in a construction zone.
In Naples, bathroom remodeling means the tub or the shower, not the whole room. That covers shower replacement, new bathtubs, tub-to-shower and shower-to-tub conversions, walk-in tubs and walk-in showers. Safety upgrades can be part of it, like grab bars, built-in seats, low entries and barrier-free showers. We have replaced two showers and one bathtub in Naples. One shower from 2024 has Canyon walls and Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures, and a 2024 bathtub has smooth Alabaster walls and Brushed Nickel fixtures. Yolanda V. described her visit as "just a pleasant conversation on redoing our tub shower into a shower only."
Two things set Naples apart. At the 2020 census, 54.9% of residents were 65 or older, and the city is known for appealing to retirees. Naples is also in Collier County, the one county where permits are pulled for this work. If you are planning for the long run, think about the step into your tub, where a grab bar would help and whether a seat makes sense. Those are choices worth making on your own terms.
Each tub and shower gets its own quote in your home, since no two bathrooms match. What you pick and the space decide the price: the size and layout of the area, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. With a walk-in tub, the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features you choose are part of it. The quote includes both product and installation, and cost has its own page below.
You call and pick a time for a designer from Love Your Bath to come by, with all homeowners asked to be there. The designer listens, then builds a custom plan with options and a free quote. You choose the wall color, base and fixture finish. Install day comes next, and most jobs take in as little as one day, with a second day needed rarely. Reviewer chris M. said the team "kept me updated on timeline."
When it is finished, you step into a shower or tub that fits how you live now. The vanity, the floor and the mirror stay just as they were. Only the part you use every day has changed, and the worries left on your list are answered below.
