Bathroom Remodeling in North Port: Your Tub or Shower, Redone

North Port attracts retirees and families alike. Either way, a tub that has become a climb or a shower that looks worn can wear on you. From Wellen Park to the streets near Warm Mineral Springs, you want that one spot fixed and the rest of the room left alone.

In North Port, this work centers on the wet area, the tub or the shower. Options run from shower replacements and new bathtubs to tub-to-shower and shower-to-tub conversions, walk-in tubs and walk-in showers. Grab bars, built-in seats, low entries and barrier-free showers can come along too. Every shower and tub is custom, with you choosing the wall type and color, the base and the fixture colors. We have replaced two showers in North Port and put in one walk-in tub. The walk-in tub, from 2024, has smooth Alabaster walls. One of the showers, from 2025, has Alabaster walls in a subway pattern with Matte Black fixtures.

North Port, in Sarasota County, covers about 104 square miles and is growing fast, with large residential subdivisions and master-planned communities like Wellen Park, which has its own downtown. Its median age is 49.3 years. Look at your own bathroom with fresh eyes. Note how high the tub wall feels when you step over it, where a grab bar would land, and whether a seat would make showers easier.

Price comes from your choices and your space. That means the size and layout of the area, a shower or a bathtub, the base, the wall style and finish, the fixture finish, and extras like a seat, shelves or grab bars. Walk-in tubs also depend on the tub size and the accessibility and wellness features chosen. Every quote is done in the home, because no two bathrooms are alike, and it includes product and installation. Cost has its own page below.

First, call to book a design visit and ask all homeowners to be there. A Love Your Bath designer comes to the house, takes in what you want and draws up a custom plan with options and a free quote. Next, you choose your colors, finishes and safety features. On install day, most jobs take in as little as one day, and a second day is rare. Mark R. called the whole thing "Professional from start to finish."

Once it is finished, your mornings start with a tub or shower that suits you. The vanity and floor look the way they always did. Any worries left, like timing or what to avoid, are answered on the pages below, and nothing else in the room had to change.
